Remy is a fourth-year Biomedical Engineering student on the pre-health track and President of Policy Advocacy in Science and Engineering. She previously studied carpometacarpal osteoarthritis in the UF Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Lab and muscle stem cell mechanobiology and regeneration through an REU at the University of Pennsylvania. She currently conducts tendon tissue engineering and mechanobiology research in the Taylor Lab at UF. Her experiences have shaped her interests in biomaterials, regenerative medicine, and musculoskeletal health, as well as her commitment to improving the communication and advocacy of scientific research.
